Seasonal Sales Associate (Store 4712)

About the role

The Seasonal Sales Associate supports the store team during peak sales days by providing excellent customer service, participating in store operations, and adhering to GameStop policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, and promoting additional items.
• Support the shopping environment by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and proper merchandising.
• Stock and restock merchandise, and assist in inventory control and loss prevention.
• Work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Communicate clearly and listen effectively to guests and colleagues.
• Meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage goals.
• Address guest concerns and escalate issues to a store keyholder.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing personality with strong guest service skills.
• Clear verbal communication and listening skills.
• Reliable and trustworthy.
• Capable of standing and moving throughout the store for at least 8 hours per day.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs. from ground level to a minimum height of 4 feet.
