Seasonal Sales Associate (Store 4503)

About the role

The Seasonal Sales Associate supports the store team during peak sales days by providing outstanding customer service, participating in store operations, and adhering to GameStop policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, and recommending additional items.
• Safeguard the shopping environment by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and proper merchandising.
• Stock and restock merchandise, and assist in meeting sales, profit, and shrinkage goals.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly, and escalate issues to a store keyholder.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices, including awareness of scams and adherence to safety best practices.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures, including attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience is preferred.
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly and effectively.
• Outgoing personality and strong guest service skills.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the store for at least 8 hours per day.
• Capable of bending, stooping, reaching, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Reliability and trustworthiness.
