About the role

The Seasonal Sales Associate supports the store team during peak sales days by providing excellent customer service, participating in store operations, and adhering to GameStop policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, and recommending additional items.
• Safeguard the shopping environment by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and proper merchandising.
• Stock and restock merchandise, and assist in inventory control and loss prevention.
• Work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to meet sales and store goals.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues, addressing issues promptly and escalating complex problems.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures, including ethical responsibilities and safety best practices.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing personality with strong guest service skills.
• Clear verbal communication and listening skills in English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Reliable and trustworthy.
