About the role

The Seasonal Sales Associate supports the store team during peak sales days by providing excellent customer service, participating in store operations, and adhering to GameStop policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, and promoting additional items.
• Safeguard the shopping environment by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and proper merchandising.
• Assist in stocking and organizing merchandise, and manage inventory to meet sales and profit targets.
• Collaborate with the store team to address guest questions and concerns, and report any issues to a store keyholder.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention by following safety best practices and reporting any suspicious activity.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures, including attendance, confidentiality, and ethical responsibilities.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.
• Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing personality with strong guest service skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and listen effectively, including bilingual English/Spanish skills.
• Reliable and trustworthy.
