Seasonal Sales Associate (Store 1312)

About the role

The Seasonal Sales Associate supports the store team during peak sales days by providing excellent customer service, participating in store operations, and adhering to GameStop policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, and recommending additional items.
• Support the shopping environment by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and merchandising standards.
• Stock and restock merchandise, and assist in transferring products from the stock room to the front of the store.
• Aid in achieving sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals by collaborating with the store team.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to a store keyholder as necessary.
• Contribute to inventory control and loss prevention efforts by following best practices and reporting suspicious activity.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures, including attendance, confidentiality, and ethical responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.
• Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing personality with strong guest service skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and listen effectively in English; bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the store for at least 8 hours per day.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, reach, climb ladders, and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Reliability and trustworthiness.
