About the role

The Seasonal Sales Associate supports the store team during peak sales days by providing excellent customer service, participating in store operations, and adhering to GameStop policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, and recommending additional items.
• Safeguard the shopping environment by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and proper merchandising.
• Stock and restock merchandise, and assist in inventory control and loss prevention.
• Collaborate with the store team to meet sales, profit, and shrinkage goals.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues as necessary.
• Work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Follow instructions and demonstrate clear verbal communication and listening skills.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures, including ethical responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to follow instructions and demonstrate clear verbal communication and listening skills.
• Possess an outgoing and friendly personality with strong guest service skills.
• Be capable of bending, stooping, reaching, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
