Seasonal Sales Associate (Store 1179)

About the role

The Seasonal Sales Associate supports the store team during peak sales days by providing excellent customer service, participating in store operations, and adhering to GameStop policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, and promoting additional items.
• Support the shopping environment by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and proper merchandising.
• Stock and restock merchandise, and assist in inventory control and loss prevention.
• Avoid and address guest questions and concerns, escalating issues as necessary.
• Work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Communicate clearly and listen effectively, demonstrating reliability and trustworthiness.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Outgoing personality with strong guest service skills.
• Capable of standing and moving throughout the store for at least 8 hours per day.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. from ground level to a minimum height of 4 feet.
