Seasonal Sales Associate (Store 0950)

About the role

The Seasonal Sales Associate supports the store team during peak sales days by providing excellent customer service, participating in store operations, and adhering to GameStop policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, and recommending additional items.
• Safeguard the shopping environment by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and proper merchandising.
• Stock and restock merchandise, and assist in transferring products from the stock room to the front of the store.
• Achieve sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals by collaborating with the store team.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly, professionally, and courteously, escalating issues as necessary.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention by being aware of scams and following safety best practices.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures, including attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly in English; bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred.
• Ability to stand, move, bend, stoop, reach, climb, and lift up to 30 lbs. independently for at least 8 hours per day.
• Reliability and trustworthiness.
