Seasonal Sales Associate (Store 0502)

About the role

The Seasonal Sales Associate supports the store team during peak sales days, focusing on sales, store maintenance, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, and promoting additional items.
• Support the shopping environment by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and proper merchandising.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise, and manage inventory control and loss prevention.
• Address guest questions and concerns, and collaborate with the store team to meet sales and profit goals.
• Work independently and within a team to perform tasks as assigned, and adhere to GameStop policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience is preferred.
• Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly in English, with Spanish proficiency preferred.
• Outgoing personality, strong guest service skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical capabilities to stand, move, bend, stoop, reach, climb, lift up to 30 lbs., and work for at least 8 hours per day.
• Reliability and trustworthiness.
