About the role

The Seasonal Sales Associate supports the store team during peak sales days, focusing on sales, store maintenance, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, and recommending additional items.
• Support the shopping environment by cleaning, organizing, and merchandising store areas, including restrooms.
• Stock and restock merchandise, and assist in transferring products from the stock room to the front of the store.
• Aid in meeting sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly, and escalate issues to a store keyholder.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.
• Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing personality with strong guest service skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and listen effectively.
• Capable of standing and moving throughout the store for at least 8 hours per day.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, climb ladders, and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Reliability and trustworthiness.
