About the role
Seasonal Sales Associate – 120-day assignment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain customer service standards, generate sales, and uphold loss prevention in adherence to company policies and store standards.
- Greet and acknowledge every customer; answer questions and help locate products.
- Answer incoming phone calls and maintain constant radio communication with associates.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Coastal Farm products and stay current with product information and promotions.
- Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping.
- Perform daily cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, replacing full trash bags, and sweeping department floors.
- Support other departments as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to rapidly changing work environments.
- Ability to shift priorities as required.
- Familiarity with operating a computer system and email.
- Preference given to candidates familiar with standard retail concepts and practices.
- Strong attention to detail.
