Seasonal Sales Associate

As a Seasonal Sales Associate, you’ll assist customers, maintain store appearance, and contribute to a positive shopping experience during high-volume seasonal periods. This temporary position is essential for supporting increased business throughout the year.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers as they enter, exit, and approach the front end.
• Accurately and efficiently operate the register.
• Be knowledgeable about promotions and advertisements to answer customer questions and assist with sales; support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs.
• Maintain a neat and organized front-end work area.
• Assist with receiving shipments, pricing items, merchandising products, and store recovery.
• Communicate customer needs to Team Leaders when necessary.
• Maintain overall store cleanliness.
• Complete additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Stand for extended periods.
• Bend, twist, grip, reach, and pinch frequently.
• Squat, kneel, balance, and climb ladders occasionally.
• See, hear, and speak regularly.
• Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
