SEASONAL Sales Associate

About the Role

We are seeking Seasonal Summer Sales Associates who are enthusiastic, energetic, friendly, and hard-working. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a welcoming store environment. The position runs from May 1, 2026, to August 31, 2026, and is eligible for rehire in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a warm, inviting, and easy-to-navigate shopping environment.
• Build and share expertise on products, promotions, services, and brand rewards programs.
• Assist customers in finding the perfect card and gift solutions.
• Showcase stories and communities of caring to reinforce the cycle of kindness.
• Handle store operations, including product replenishment, merchandising, ringing sales, processing shipments, managing inventory, fulfilling online orders, and curbside deliveries.
• Work as a team to meet sales goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Uphold company policies and practices.
• Perform housekeeping duties, including backroom, front of store, and bathroom maintenance.
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• If under 18, must meet work permit requirements (if applicable).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including events, holidays, evenings, and weekends.
• Proof of eligibility to work legally in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One or more years of experience in retail, sales, or customer service.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

• Continuous standing/walking, pushing/pulling, lifting/carrying up to 10 pounds, fine finger movement, and tactile/touch tasks.
• Frequent bending, climbing/working at heights, kneeling, squatting, lifting/carrying up to 40 pounds, and reaching overhead.
• Occasional balancing on uneven surfaces, lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds, driving/traveling, and lifting/carrying up to 75 pounds.
• Continuous communication with customers, co-workers, and vendors, including speaking, hearing, and sight.
• Exposure to dust, cleaning agents, truck exhaust, inadequate lighting, noise, product scents, outdoor work, and heights.

Employment Status

This is a seasonal, hourly, non-exempt position, typically working 6 to 20 hours per week, not exceeding an average of 28 hours per week. The term runs from May 1, 2026, to August 31, 2026.
