Seasonal - Sales Associate

About the role

Position Overview: The Seasonal Sales Associate is responsible for sales generation and delivering a positive customer experience. The Seasonal Sales Associate will also handle a variety of operational duties as assigned by the store management team (e.g., housekeeping duties, visual presentation standards, etc.). Reports To: Store Management. Brand: GUESS Factory Store. Location: 1001 North Arney Road, Suite 804 - Woodburn, OR 97071.

Responsibilities

• Customer Experience: Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and sincere non-business-like greeting; create a positive first impression through energetic attitude and adherence to dress code; maintain a sparkling clean and organized environment; provide customers with current relevant product information; provide quality service in fitting rooms, follow up timely, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, attempt to add on to the sale; provide efficient service at cash wrap, offer Gift Cards, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, capture customer information in database; sincerely thank all customers for shopping as they exit.
• Cooperation & Dependability: Satisfactorily complete all duties as assigned by management; be punctual and adhere to designated work schedule; be flexible and work well with peers and management; follow GUESS Policies and Procedures 100%; perform housekeeping duties as required.
• Personal Performance: Meet or exceed the Sales per Hour (SPH) result as assigned by management.
• Miscellaneous Responsibilities: Participate in and attend all store meetings and other related functions; represent a positive attitude toward the merchandise and the company; participate in all inventories; assume and complete other duties as assigned by store management.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform heavy lifting in excess of 30 pounds and stand for a minimum of eight hours during scheduled shifts.

Requirements

• Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Retail Experience: Previous retail experience preferred.
• Team Player: Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Flexible Schedule: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and balance on a frequent basis.

Pay

Salary Minimum: $15.55 per hour; Salary Maximum: $16.00 per hour.
