About the role
A 120-day seasonal assignment as a Sales Associate focused on delivering customer service, driving sales, and maintaining store standards.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist every customer, answer questions, and direct them to products.
- Answer incoming phone calls and maintain constant radio communication with associates.
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of Coastal Farm’s products and promotions.
- Maintain product displays, merchandising, signing, pricing, and store housekeeping.
- Operate point-of-sale systems and process freight.
- Assist in floor moves, display maintenance, and loss prevention.
- Support other departments as needed.
- Perform daily cleaning tasks (e.g., vacuuming, trash removal, sweeping).
- Complete other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications
- Proven written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to rapidly changing work environments.
- Basic computer and email proficiency.
- Familiarity with standard retail concepts and practices (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail.
