Seasonal Retail Stock & Fulfillment - Park West Village Rack

About the role

As a Nordstrom Rack team member, you'll work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, collaborating with teammates to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all customers. You’ll ensure a quick and easy customer experience while keeping the store clean and clutter-free. Flexibility is key, as you may occasionally work in different areas of the store to maintain cleanliness, organize stockrooms, and assist customers in finding great deals. Roles are available in Sales, Customer Service, Stock, and Fulfillment departments.

Responsibilities

Sales and Customer Service

• Work with the team to keep the sales floor "runway ready," sized, and filled through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day.
• Assist customers with a variety of transactions across different platforms (in-store, online, and mobile), including operating a point-of-sale system, bagging items, and handling bulky or heavy items to ensure a seamless and friendly experience.
• Support fitting room operations by greeting and assisting customers, sorting clothing, and returning items to the sales floor.
• Maintain a clean and clutter-free customer experience by sorting and returning clothing to the sales floor.
• Keep stockrooms organized, ensuring merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
• Demonstrate expertise in all store technologies.
• Adhere to operational, merchandise, and asset protection standards.
• Promote initiatives like the Nordstrom Rewards program.

Stock Support and Fulfillment

• Receive, unload freight, unpack, and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments.
• Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards.
• Prepare and ship customer orders following quality packing and shipping standards.
• Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments in accordance with inventory control processes.
• Maintain clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
• Provide general store support, including setting up special events, organizing the backroom, handling markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.

Physical Requirements

• Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers.
• Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
• Handling bulky and awkwardly shaped items, including reaching above the head.
• Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
• For Stock and Fulfillment roles: Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Pay

Pay offers are dependent on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The hourly pay range for this role is $17.05 - $17.75.
