About the Role

As a Brand Associate, you are an integral part of the team and bring the Athleta brand to life for customers. You provide excellent customer service that drives brand loyalty, educate and inspire shoppers with product expertise, and collaborate with leadership to deliver a best‑in‑class omni‑channel experience.

Responsibilities

• Treat all customers and employees with respect and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Promote loyalty by educating customers about Athleta’s loyalty programs.
• Engage customers to drive sales and service through suggestive selling.
• Enhance the customer experience using all omni‑channel offerings.
• Meet personal sales goals that contribute to overall store results.
• Support the sales floor, fitting room, cash wrap, and back‑of‑house as needed.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work center.
• Handle all customer interactions and potential issues or returns courteously and professionally.
• Execute operational processes effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Strong communicator able to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Customer‑focused service provider, both on and off the sales floor.
• Passionate about retail and thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
• Problem solver with a focus on continuous improvement; open to feedback and proactive in taking action.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, evenings, overnight, and weekends.
• Ability to utilize retail technology.
• Capable of maneuvering around the sales floor, stockroom, and office and lifting up to 30 lb.
