Seasonal Retail Merchandising Associate

About the role

HomeGoods, part of TJX Companies, is seeking a team member to deliver a highly satisfied customer experience, engage with all customers, embody customer experience principles, and maintain a clean and organized store environment. The role supports operational, merchandise, and loss‑prevention standards and may involve cross‑training in multiple store areas.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers while maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
• Adhere to all operational, merchandise, and loss‑prevention standards.
• Cross‑train to work in multiple areas of the store to support business needs.
• Role model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases/returns and count change back to the customer according to established procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
• Maintain all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and assist with overall store cleanliness.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink‑reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Retail customer experience preferred.

Pay

This position has a starting pay range of USD $13.25 to $13.75 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
