About the Role

Retail Leads play a pivotal role in evo's retail operations by leading and maintaining operational excellence. Responsibilities include store inventory management, ship-to-store pickup operations, ship-from-store processes, and providing guidance and support to frontline employees. Retail Leads lead and develop team members, maintain a positive customer experience, achieve sales goals, and uphold evo's visual merchandising standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Store Supervisor to positively influence employee productivity, customer experience, and sales goals.
• Uphold evo's visual merchandising standards to create an appealing shopping environment.
• Provide on-the-spot coaching to staff, addressing performance, customer service, and work ethic.
• Lead by example, consistently meeting and exceeding goals and expectations set by the retail leadership team.
• Execute store sales, promotions, markdowns, transfers, shipments, and merchandising projects.
• Assist with opening and closing responsibilities, including register management and nightly walkthroughs.
• Exemplify customer service standards, maintaining a welcoming and positive demeanor.
• Check in with staff throughout the day, manage lunch schedules, and ensure floor coverage.
• Provide feedback on product assortment to the Supervisor and/or Manager.
• Lead store operations including receiving, processing, and restocking inventory.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a retail role is preferred.
• Proficiency in using retail systems and software (e.g., NetSuite, evoPOS, BRM, HighJump).
• Adaptability, attention to detail, cash handling, communication, conflict resolution, critical thinking, customer service, inventory management, merchandising, multitasking, problem-solving, product knowledge, teamwork, time management.
• Embodies, honors, and lives evo’s core values: The Great 8.
• Knowledge of outdoor sports and gear is a plus.

Schedule

This is a seasonal position from mid-October to mid-February (with the possibility to extend). Weekend and holiday availability is required, including peak holiday periods such as Black Friday (the day after U.S. Thanksgiving) and the weeks leading up to and following Christmas. Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay

The base wage for this role ranges from $21.95/hr to $24.75/hr, depending on skills and experience. Internal pay equity is also considered.
