What You’ll Do
- Create a welcoming environment, engage customers to understand their specific trade needs, and support omni-channel services during peak shopping volume.
- Keep transactions moving smoothly, manage rush periods efficiently, and promote loyalty programs to help the store smash its goals.
- Keep the floor fully stocked, sharp, and organized. You’ll be hands-on with high-volume shipments, inventory flow, and restocking.
- Collaborate with the crew, bring a reliable and positive attitude to every shift, and showcase your long-term potential for a permanent position.
What You Need To Succeed
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience (required).
- Mindset: A "builder" work ethic, dependable, motivated, and ready to jump in where needed during our busiest season.
- Availability: Flexible availability to meet peak-season demands, including evenings, weekends, and key holiday shifts.
- Skills: Strong communication, comfort with POS technology, and an ability to make every trade worker feel valued.
Requirements
- Must be 18+ and able to commute to North Reading, MA.
- Physicality: Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift 25–30 lbs. regularly during shipment and inventory resets.
