Seasonal Repair Specialist

Responsibilities

• Learn to repair vehicle glass using industry-leading technology under the guidance of experienced technicians and leaders.
• Complete vehicle glass repairs, including chips, cracks, and other auto glass-related issues.
• Manage work orders, customer documentation, and communication through the Safelite handheld Mobile Resource Management (MRM) technology.
• Promote and sell Safelite promotional items to customers.
• Clean customer vehicles during wait/idle time and perform additional housekeeping tasks in company vehicles and shop.
• Safely operate company and customer vehicles, company-issued tools, and chemicals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and any other required licenses.
• Completion of Safelite SafeTech™ certification.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Skills and Abilities

• Lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. for short periods, assisting with heavier windshields.
• Standing for extended periods, working in tight spaces, bending, twisting, and operating various hand and power tools safely.
• Operating a motor vehicle according to all federal, state, and local laws.
• Maintaining professionalism and providing outstanding customer service.
• Working with chemicals as part of the Safelite Way of Fitting.
• Adhering to company policies and standards.

Benefits

Competitive weekly base pay starting at $17.75/hour. Additional benefits are subject to change and will be communicated upon hire.

Pay

$17.75/hour starting wage, with potential for raises based on performance and experience.
