Seasonal Property Worker - Patoka Lake

Join us to make a difference in the lives of Hoosiers through various roles including Attendants, Concessions, Housekeepers, Laborers, Office Assistants, Clerks, Security Officers, DOC Crew Supervisors, and Shooting Range Officers.

Responsibilities

• Attendants: Collection of revenue from fees and permits, cash/credit card handling duties.
• Concessions: Sale of location specific items, handling cash/credit payments, collection of fees & permits, inventory reporting.
• Housekeepers: Regular deep cleaning of restrooms, showers, and other property buildings.
• Laborers: Various duties based on property needs such as landscaping, mowing, firewood processing, structure maintenance, sign creation, trail upkeep, carpentry, and plumbing.
• Office Assistants: Answering inquiries, providing quality customer service, assisting property management with operations and administrative functions.
• Clerks: Inventory, stocking, reporting, budgeting, and assisting with other administrative duties.
• Security Officers: Monitoring visitor activities, enforcing regulations, providing security to facilities, construction sites, and logging operations.
• DOC Crew Supervisors: Monitoring DOC work release crew activities, participating in labor duties as needed, providing transportation.
• Shooting Range Officers: Monitoring visitor activities, providing quality customer service, enforcing shooting range standard operating procedures, and basic maintenance.

Requirements

• May be expected to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• May be required to wear a DNR provided uniform.
• May be required to work with DOC work release crews.
• May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
• May be required to travel to additional properties.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Benefits

This seasonal position does not offer benefits and is limited to 180 working days in an eleven (11) month continuous period.
