Position Information

• Temporary position working a professional development event onsite in Philadelphia on August 18 and 19, along with approximately 10-20 hours of paid, primarily asynchronous onboarding and training.
• Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be $550 per day on August 18 and 19, along with pre-event training paid at $25/hour. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.
• Location: In this US-based position, you will work primarily onsite in Philadelphia, PA, with some training completed remotely.

Experience, Education, and Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree (graduate degree preferred) and at least 2 years of experience delivering successful professional development, training, and/or consulting services (5 or more years preferred).
• Current or past teaching certification and experience teaching Math or ELA in an educational environment is strongly preferred.
• High degree of motivation, with demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a high-quality results-driven, team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, online meeting platform (Zoom, Teams, etc.) and database software.
• Ability to provide a current Fingerprint Clearance Card or provide proof of application within 7 days (upon hire).
• Must be able to work onsite in Philadelphia, PA August 18 and 19, and complete approximately 10-20 hours of onboarding and training prior to the event.
