Seasonal Production Team Member
About the role
Gear Up is seeking production team members to join a collaborative environment. The primary roles include Pre-Production/Filtering, Pressing, QC/Shipping, and additional duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Sorting and picking artwork (logos, numbers, etc.)
- Verifying that art and garment SKUs match order paperwork
- Interpreting order paperwork
- Positioning art, names, and numbers on garments
- Operating textile heat presses
- Verifying that the finished product matches customer orders
- Packaging and preparing orders for shipment
- Interacting with our shipping software
Requirements
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to read and interpret sales orders and other written instructions
- Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Energetic and motivated
- Ability to learn and use computer systems to input and verify the information
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience using Microsoft office products (Outlook, Word, Excel) and MRP systems a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to kneel, squat, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to walk throughout production floor
- Ability to reach and grab totes stored overhead
- Ability to see and distinguish colors
