SEASONAL PRODUCTION OPERATOR

GENERAL PURPOSE This position is responsible for properly recognizing the correct linen belonging to the account being processed. You must ensure there is no mixed, dirty, or damaged linen before feeding it into the machine or hand-folding it. You must maintain a fast-paced speed while meeting the company’s expectations and practicing safety procedures. In addition, the Production Operators will help ensure the machinery is working properly by communicating any issues to their leaders. Duties And Responsibilities Feeding machinery with sheets, duvets, bathrobes, pillowcases, towels, tablecloths, napkins, mats Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized working station Ensure the linen being processed belongs to the account assigned Identify any damaged, dirty, or mixed linen and properly place it in the correct containers Maintain an average of 85% or above for production based on the IT system in place (Spindle) Must be logged into the IT system in place (Spindle) always while working on the machine Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required 3 months or more of related experience in the commercial laundry or hotel industry Ability to understand, comprehend, and follow simple instructions, short correspondence, and product labeling Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers Able to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to meet required performance goals and objectives Ability to work in a team environment and alone Good communication skills, both oral and written in English Must have good attention to detail General Conditions, Abilities, And Functions This position is an inside role, protected from weather conditions, and due to workload demands, is subject to extended work hours, requiring stamina beyond normal demands or levels.
