Second shift 1pm to 9:30pm (Potential for FT). Needed flexibility to work additional hours and weekends if needed.

This position is seasonal, with the possibility of direct hire and increased compensation upon transition to a permanent role, contingent on performance and other relevant factors.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the efficient operation of designated production equipment as assigned
• Responsible for start-up, operation, change over, shut down and preventative maintenance of assigned production equipment
• Equipment may include production line equipment, forklifts or other power equipment
• Operate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently following the Company Safety Policy, including the lock out/tag out process
• Perform manual tasks such as: loading and supplying production line items, reworking product and loading conveyors
• Quality Assurance and testing compliance according to Company and/or designated facility standards
• Provide general plant, production line and facility clean up (5S)
• Interact with team members from various departments (Quality Assurance, Maintenance, etc.) to maximize output and efficiency
• Attend shift, team, and plant meetings during their scheduled times
• Measure and continuously improve the line operation as a team and with other Operators
• Cross-train in other areas to support operations during downtimes

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Production experience, preferably in a food and beverage environment
• Focus on safe work practices and high quality while executing duties with a sense of urgency
• Work efficiently self-directed or in a team environment
• Physically able to safely lift bottles and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours and occasional weekends
• Ability to inspect materials visually and by sense of smell
• PPE Required (safety shoes, hair nets, goggles, ear plugs)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions (depending on location) that include inclement weather such as rain, snow, or extreme temperatures, heat, and humidity
• The noise level may be loud at times
