Seasonal Production Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate, and complete delivery of multimedia content and publish to various platforms.
• Edit video elements and research video content for various games/networks.
• Produce variety of elements: teases, opens, v/o’s and montages for live events.
• Absorb and coordinate graphics for assigned games, telecasts or remote live events.
• Log and archive video and associated data for future use.

Qualifications

• Conversational knowledge of multiple sports, especially sports heavily covered within ESPN content: Football, Basketball, Hockey, Baseball, Softball, and Gymnastics.
• Ability to comfortably prepare and communicate ideas.
• Must possess professional communication and organization skills.
• React quickly and positively under tight deadlines in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Self-starting attitude and team-oriented work ethic.
• Will be scheduled to work nights, mornings, weekends, and/or holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Awareness of ESPN content (i.e. platforms, shows, events, etc.).
• Awareness of media trends (i.e. social, digital, linear, etc.).
• Experience with video editing software (i.e. Adobe Premiere, Final Cut etc.).
• Self-starting attitude and team-oriented work ethic.
• Familiarity with server-based media.

Required Education

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Education

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay rate for this role in Charlotte, NC is $22.93 per hour.
