Seasonal Production and Warehouse Positions

About the role

Winpak Portion Packaging is hiring seasonal Packers, Material Handlers, and Forklift Operators for production and warehouse teams in Sauk Village and South Chicago Heights, IL.

Responsibilities

• Packer: Inspect, pack, label, and prepare finished products while following quality and food safety procedures.
• Material Handler: Move and stage materials to support production, and help keep work areas organized.
• Forklift Operator: Move and stage materials safely using a forklift and support warehouse operations.

Requirements

• Commitment to safe work practices, quality, and teamwork.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced production or warehouse setting.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform hands-on tasks throughout a shift.
• For Forklift Operator positions: at least six months of warehouse experience.

Pay

• Packer: $17.68/hour.
• Material Handler: $18.20/hour.
• Forklift Operator: $22.00/hour.
• Night shifts include an additional $2.00 per hour.
• Paid weekly.

Schedule

• Day and night shift opportunities available.
• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
• Work 12-hour shifts on an alternating three-day and four-day workweek.
• This is a rotating shift.
