About the role

Join our team in Wasilla, AK, to deliver exceptional customer service, assist shoppers, and maintain store operations. This role involves a variety of tasks to ensure a positive shopping experience and a well-maintained store environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service, help customers locate products, and offer solutions
• Ensure a fast and friendly checkout experience, including cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, including returns and general store recovery to ensure a well-merchandised and in-stock store
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements
• Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, promoting the organization’s vision and values
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production (preferred)
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time
• Ability to move throughout the store, including regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
• Capability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using a ladder or similar equipment
• Willingness to work in a public retail store setting, including climate-controlled areas, non-climate-controlled stock rooms, and outdoor tasks such as retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older

Work Environment

• Public retail store setting with climate-controlled public areas
• Some stock rooms may not be climate controlled
• Outdoor work may be required for tasks like retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks
• Frame shop contains equipment such as a glass cutter and heat press
