Seasonal Part-Time Supervisor (Day Shift)
Job Summary
This position supervises, trains, develops, and holds workgroups responsible for safety, production, and attendance. It sets and maintains high standards for account productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety, while providing innovative leadership and cultivating functional relationships with all levels of personnel throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
- Facilitate training for new and current employees.
- Ensure all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times, complying with department, station, corporate, and local government requirements.
- Manage department resources to ensure maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Establish and promote a positive, team‑oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement, proactive communication, inter‑departmental cooperation, and continual improvement.
- Implement employee personal development plans to support professional growth.
- Provide specific and detailed orientation, skills and safety training, appropriate materials, regular evaluations, and proactive coaching for all department employees.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 70 lbs / 32 kg.
- Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree or international equivalent – Preferred.
- Management experience – Preferred.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, a lawful permanent resident, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S.
Pay
The base pay for this position ranges from $26.25 per hour to $42.65 per hour. Pay is based on factors such as market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, education/training, and work experience. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short‑term and/or long‑term incentive compensation programs, subject to eligibility requirements and performance.
