SEASONAL PART-TIME STORE & WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Aid customers with product needs and answer their questions
• Cash out customers using the register system, stock the store, and load customers’ vehicles
• Handle product orders, merchandise items, and create vendor orders directly for the store
• Load and unload bagged feeds and related products for customers, including both commercial and private clients
• Safely operate a hand truck and a forklift, and follow all safety rules
• Operate all equipment safely and adhere to all safety guidelines
• Report any safety concerns encountered while performing essential duties
• Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse and loading areas
• Perform other duties as directed by Store Management

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Capable of lifting 55 lbs. to a height of 50 inches
• Strong work history
• Excellent customer service skills are required
• Ability to work independently and with others, under supervision
• Experience in animal care, retail, or agriculture is preferred
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical examination
