Seasonal Part-Time Loss Prevention Associate

About The Role

As Loss Prevention Associate, you will assist in Loss Prevention activities within the Distribution Center (DC).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the protection of Kohl’s physical, human and property assets
• Monitor physical security policies and procedures of Kohl’s and the Distribution Center
• Report incidents of associate theft or safety violations
• Participate in internal theft investigations in strict adherence to Kohl's policies and guidelines
• Maintain monitoring of all Kohl’s Department Store and Distribution Center safety policies and procedures and actively participate in the Distribution Center Safety Committee
• Perform Distribution Center Loss Prevention audits to measure accuracy
• Report production fraud or short-cuts by associates
• Maintain monitoring of associates (via the floor and CCTV) to ensure compliance to processing guidelines
• Perform data entry of all audit results and assigned information
• Perform all Gatehouse operations and Gatehouse data entry
• Aid in store inquiries
• Participate in the training of newly hired Loss Prevention Associates

Required Skills

• A High School Diploma or equivalent and/or previous Distribution Center, Law Enforcement and/or Store Loss Prevention experience
• Certification in the use of power equipment to aid in investigations
• Auditing experience
• Working knowledge of software programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and PeopleSoft
