Seasonal Packer and Panner

About the role

As a Packer and Panner at Krispy Kreme, you will ensure the doughnuts you pack are fresh and meet our strict quality standards, and you’ll make the process of loading doughnut trucks smooth and easy so our doughnut delivery drivers can get back on the road. Enthusiasm and lots of energy help make this role fun and vital to our teams. During peak seasons, we rely on a flexible, seasonal staffing model to ensure our customers receive friendly, efficient service and a well-maintained store appearance.

Responsibilities

• Pack up sweet treats and stage them in boxes and racks to be ready for delivery.
• Keep everything in the loading area clean and organized.
• Check for any quality issues and let leaders know if anything concerning is found.
• Organize doughnuts for drivers according to their route orders and keep track of what’s being delivered and to which customers.
• Train in how to make and decorate doughnuts when needed, and assist in other areas as requested by leadership.

Physical demands

• This role is for people who prefer not sitting still; expect to be on the move while packing and loading doughnuts.
• Lift 25 to 30 pounds often; may need to move up to 60 pounds at times.
• Use cleaning equipment such as mops and brooms.
• Move around, read produce boxes, and use measuring devices.
• The doughnut factory can be warm and noisy due to equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to do basic reading and math.
• Strong time-management skills.
• Enthusiastic and team-oriented.
