About the role

Working at Target means helping families discover the joy of everyday life. Seasonal specialty sales roles involve providing tailored suggestions, visual merchandising, guest‑experience advocacy, and ensuring product is set, in‑stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. The positions offer training to develop guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals, and process efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Provide tailored suggestions and solutions through active selling and visual merchandising.
  • Welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations, focusing on interaction and recovery.
  • Ensure product is set, in‑stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor.
  • Execute daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and sales goals.
  • Accurately handle cash register operations.
  • Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including lifting or moving items up to 40 pounds.
  • Climb up and down ladders as needed.

Requirements

  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Skill in resolving guest questions quickly on the spot.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow multi‑step processes.
  • Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays) and regular attendance.

Starting hourly rate: $15.75 USD per hour.
