Join Arbor Day Farm as a Seasonal Orchard Hand and help create meaningful guest experiences while advancing the Foundation’s mission right here in Nebraska City.
How We Work
- Location: Nebraska City, Nebraska – Arbor Day Farm Campus
- Schedule: Peak - Monday-Friday, 7:30AM - 4:00PM - Additional hours may be available
- Season: Mid-August through late October/early November
The campus is guest-centered and hospitality-driven. Many roles require flexibility to support weddings, conferences, seasonal festivals, and signature events. We work hard, support each other, and believe if we’re going to do something — it’s worth doing well.
What You’ll Do
- Spend your days in our orchards and grounds.
- Perform a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to, mowing, pruning, weeding, spraying, trimming, and harvesting in the orchards.
- Be a part of the apple processing.
- Take pride in learning and assisting with aspects of the apple sorting, cider pressing, and bottling process.
- Gain valuable work experience that sets you up for other opportunities on our property.
