Seasonal Operations Associate - Volusia Mall

About the role

This is an early morning position where you will work with the task team to perform operations functions prior to store opening. As a seasonal hire you will have a defined employment time period, but you may be offered an employment extension or regular position based on your work ethic and availability.

Primary Responsibilities

• Customer Service - Maneuver around the store at a fast pace, working with all the latest merchandise, but when a customer stops to ask a question or request assistance, provide outstanding service.
• Executes pricing and signing - Change ticket prices and signing on merchandise across the store.
• Replenish and restock the store - Understand customer needs; when merchandise is getting low, assist sales floor peers and leaders by pulling and preparing merchandise to go to the floor to ensure customers have the styles and sizes they need.
• Receive and unload merchandise - Work with co-workers to unload a truck and prepare merchandise in the backroom.
• Backroom standards - Keep the stockroom safe, clean, and organized.
• On-line jcp.com pick up - Find and fulfill orders placed online.
• Merchandise strategy - Take plans communicated by leadership on where to place merchandise throughout the store and execute the plan with efficiency and detail; understand merchandising standards and work to deliver an outstanding customer experience by maintaining these standards as you flow goods to the sales floor.
• Participates in a learning environment - Absorb new information from peers or training materials on merchandise or business processes.

USD $14.00/Hr - USD $17.50/Hr.
