Seasonal Operations Associate - The Avenues Center

About the role

As a Seasonal Operations Associate, you will create an outstanding customer experience by performing operations functions within the store. This is an early morning position where you will work with the task team prior to store opening. As a seasonal hire, you will have a defined employment time period, but may be offered an employment extension or regular position based on your work ethic and availability.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service – Maneuver around the store at a fast pace while assisting customers who stop to ask questions or request assistance
• Executes pricing and signing – Change ticket prices and signing on merchandise across the store
• Replenish and restock the store – Pull and prepare merchandise to go to the floor when inventory is low
• Receive and unload merchandise – Work with co-workers to unload trucks and prepare merchandise in the backroom
• Backroom standards – Keep the stockroom safe, clean, and organized
• Online jcp.com pick up – Find and fulfill orders placed online
• Merchandise strategy – Execute leadership's merchandise placement plans with efficiency and detail, maintaining merchandising standards while flowing goods to the sales floor
• Participates in a learning environment – Absorb new information from peers or training materials on merchandise and business processes

Pay

USD $14.00/Hr – USD $17.50/Hr.
