Seasonal Operations Associate - River Chase S/C

About the role

As a Seasonal Operations Associate, you will create an outstanding customer experience by performing operations functions within the store. This is an early morning position where you will work with the task team to perform functions prior to store opening. As a seasonal hire, you will have a defined employment time period, but you may be offered an employment extension or regular position based on your work ethic and availability.

Primary Responsibilities

• Customer Service - Maneuver around the store at a fast pace, working with all the latest merchandise, while assisting customers who stop to ask questions or request assistance
• Execute pricing and signing - Change ticket prices and signing on merchandise across the store
• Replenish and restock the store - Pull and prepare merchandise to go to the floor when merchandise is getting low, ensuring customers have the styles and sizes they need
• Receive and unload merchandise - Work with co-workers to unload a truck and prepare merchandise in the backroom
• Backroom standards - Keep the stockroom safe, clean, and organized
• Online jcp.com pick up - Find and fulfill orders placed online
• Merchandise strategy - Take plans communicated by leadership on where to place merchandise throughout the store and execute the plan with efficiency and detail; maintain merchandising standards as you flow goods to the sales floor
• Participate in a learning environment - Absorb new information from peers or training materials on merchandise or business processes

Pay

USD $12.50/Hr - USD $15.63/Hr.
