Seasonal Operations Associate - Patrick Henry Mall

About the role

Do you like working with your hands and staying active? Do the words "order" and "process" get you excited? Do you enjoy making things happen behind the scenes and seeing your work flourish in a store? Being a Seasonal Operations Associate creates an outstanding customer experience by performing operations functions within the store. This is an early morning position working with the task team to perform functions prior to store opening. As a seasonal hire you will have a defined employment time period, but you may be offered an employment extension or regular position based on your work ethic and availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by maneuvering around the store at a fast pace, working with the latest merchandise, and assisting customers when they have questions or need help.
• Execute pricing and signing, changing ticket prices and signing on merchandise across the store.
• Replenish and restock the store, pulling and preparing merchandise to go to the floor so customers have the styles and sizes they need.
• Receive and unload merchandise, working with co-workers to unload trucks and prepare merchandise in the backroom.
• Maintain backroom standards by keeping the stockroom safe, clean, and organized.
• Process jcp.com online pick-up orders by finding and fulfilling orders placed online.
• Execute merchandise strategy, placing merchandise throughout the store according to leadership plans, maintaining merchandising standards, and delivering an outstanding customer experience.
• Participate in a learning environment by absorbing new information from peers or training materials on merchandise or business processes.

All associates are eligible for an associate discount on JCPenney merchandise. Associates eligible for paid vacation (MTO) are also eligible for eight paid holidays during the calendar year. All store hourly associates scheduled to work on a designated holiday will receive additional compensation.

Pay

USD $13.00/Hr – USD $16.25/Hr.
