Seasonal Operations Associate - North Aurora Twn Ctr

About the role

As a Seasonal Operations Associate, you will create an outstanding customer experience by performing operations functions within the store. This is an early morning position where you will work with the task team prior to store opening. As a seasonal hire, you will have a defined employment time period, but may be offered an employment extension or regular position based on your work ethic and availability.

Primary Responsibilities

• Customer Service — Maneuver around the store at a fast pace, working with the latest merchandise, while assisting customers who stop to ask questions or request assistance.
• Executes pricing and signing — Change ticket prices and signing on merchandise across the store.
• Replenish and restock the store — Pull and prepare merchandise for the sales floor to ensure customers have the styles and sizes they need.
• Receive and unload merchandise — Work with co-workers to unload trucks and prepare merchandise in the backroom.
• Backroom standards — Keep the stockroom safe, clean, and organized.
• On-line jcp.com pick up — Find and fulfill orders placed online.
• Merchandise strategy — Execute plans communicated by leadership for placing merchandise throughout the store, maintaining merchandising standards while flowing goods to the sales floor.
• Participates in a learning environment — Absorb new information from peers or training materials on merchandise and business processes.
