Seasonal Merchandiser

About the role

The Seasonal Wine & Spirits Merchandiser is a summer position designed to kickstart your sales career in the beverage industry. This role offers professional development and growth opportunities within the company.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure shelves, displays, windows, counters, cold boxes, and retail inventories look their best and meet merchandising standards.
• Use creativity to arrange point-of-sale items according to brand standards.
• Work closely with Sales Representatives to ensure proper inventory levels for shelves, counters, cold boxes, and floor displays.
• Maintain strong relationships with store managers and provide brand and product information to them and customers.
• Maximize the distribution of products sold by Martignetti in all applicable customer accounts.
• Build high impact displays for our portfolio of products in appropriate accounts.
• Maintain physical inventory and fill coolers at key retail accounts.
• Monitor and communicate competitive activity as it relates to sales and marketing.
• Support for promotions and special events (may include evenings and weekends).
• Comply with legal guidelines, safety requirements, Martignetti Company Standards and Policies.
• Absorb and apply knowledge of Martignetti Company's various divisions, portfolios, brands, and sales technology.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license, registration, and safe driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age in compliance with applicable alcohol handling regulations and company policy.
• Vehicle capable of transporting POS materials.

Benefits

This is a seasonal/summer position that will work approximately 40 hours per week over a 12-week time period, approximately mid-May through August and will service the Cape Cod MA territory.
