About the role

This seasonal position will do general labor, outdoor work, to include maintenance of hydrants, curb boxes, manholes, gate valves, also sewer cleaning, locating, mowing and landscaping.

Responsibilities

• Performs all tasks, functions, and duties assigned to the utilities maintenance division, including but not limited to: manual labor and equipment use; equipment operation.
• Adheres to all safety rules and regulations; follows safe work practices according to law, City practices, and generally accepted safe work standards.
• Assists all maintenance divisions and other departments, as directed, in the required maintenance of City-owned properties.
• Performs other duties consistent with the tasks of the position and as may be assigned by the City.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Valid Minnesota driver's license and excellent driving record.
• General Maintenance experience.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather.

Employment offer will be contingent upon successful completion of a criminal and driving history check.

Pay

Salary $19.75 - $22.30 Hourly
