Seasonal Maintenance / Engineers

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electric, painting, HVAC and masonry.
• Inspects guestrooms, public space, back-of-the-house, and heart-of-the-house for areas to repair, touch up or replace.
• Responds to guest room calls to rectify any room issues.
• Repairs, or replace items such as light bulbs, lamps, switches, outlets, faucets, toilets, hardware, filters, paint, furniture, wall coverings, caulking, grouting or other miscellaneous items.
• Performs grounds maintenance.
• Performs preventative maintenance.
• Aids other department team members in the systematic application of the preventive maintenance program.
• Makes records of repairs made, reports completed repairs, or places areas needing further attention or a room 'out of order.'

Qualifications

• CPO certified or willing to obtain a CPO (Certified Pool Operator) preferred.

Skills

• Strong physical stamina and ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay

• $18 - $20 per hour based on experience.
