About the role
This is a temporary position that will end on or before September 30, 2026, depending on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours and show apartments, process applications, credit screening, and criminal background checks, prepare the lease and move-in package, and ensure a smooth resident move-in and lease signing.
- Inspect apartments prior to resident move-in and ensure they are in move-in ready condition, scheduling any outstanding items to be addressed with the maintenance team.
- Stay informed about market and competitor conditions, develop and implement marketing plans, and follow policies related to concessions, specials, and other programs to boost occupancy.
- Create and drive traffic to the community through resident referral and employer outreach programs, internet marketing tools, and other community-specific marketing plans, drives, and special programs.
- Use on-site property management software to track apartment availability, record leasing activities, manage resident and prospect data, and capture critical demographic and other information.
- Ensure the community and show units meet show quality standards by inspecting the marketing corridor and leasing tour, communicating maintenance needs, merchandising, and preparing the leasing office for daily activities.
- Follow-up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction by sending emails, thank-you notes, and cards, or making phone calls or other contacts to finalize decisions to lease and/or renew.
- Execute and perform activities in support of the community's lease renewal program by preparing lease renewal letters and packages, meeting with and contacting renewing residents, and ensuring lease renewal documents are signed and implemented on time.
- Respond quickly and courteously to resident and client/owner concerns and take prompt action to solve problems or document and convey resident or other requests to the appropriate individuals.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
- Ability to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods of time, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas.
- Ability to work inside and outside in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, sleet).
- Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to twenty-five (25) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance.
- Rare or regular travel may be required to assist other properties as needed, attend training classes, business meetings, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position.
- Able to work a flexible work schedule, which includes taking “call” during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
Incumbents must have all licenses and/or certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions and a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Pay
The hourly range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00.
Schedule
