About the role
The University of Oklahoma seeks Seasonal Temporary Landscape & Grounds Specialists to maintain and enhance its iconic campus grounds.
Responsibilities
- Maintain lawns, flower beds, trees, and landscaped areas.
- Operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
- Assist with planting, watering, pruning, and general grounds upkeep.
- Support campus events and seasonal projects.
- Work as part of a dedicated, team-oriented environment.
Requirements
- Valid Oklahoma Driver's License in order to drive University vehicles or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire date.
Qualifications
- No formal education required.
- No certifications or licenses required beyond a valid Oklahoma Driver's License.
Skills
- Hands-on work skills.
- Physical capability to perform landscaping and grounds tasks.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Pay
Targeted salary: $14.04 per hour, based on experience.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, work hours will shift due to winter season, weather, and projects.
