About the role

Get some, give back! We're looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a BoxLunch Seasonal Key Holder, you’ll support the store leadership team in delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring fellow fans can find the merch they love. You’ll use your fandom knowledge to train new recruits, assist the Store Manager with daily operations, and help meet sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages customers to return, showcasing product knowledge, customer experience skills, and use of the Force.
• Step in and step up when needed; provide leadership support and help run the store when the Manager is unavailable.
• Understand the store sales plan and comparable sales goals, and help drive sales by increasing key KPIs: UPT and ADT.
• Cover the sales floor zone, ensure assigned areas meet visual standards, and assist with store opening and closing.
• Work the register: process sales transactions, use fandom knowledge to drive add‑on sales, close out the register, and communicate any shortages or overages to the Store Manager.
• Assist with planogram changes, including store map, wall, fixture, and merchandising mix.
• Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and HQ partners.
• Work with Store Management to prevent misuse of spells and wizardry around theft.
• Help maintain the stock room and keep the store tidy.
• Train and coach new Sales Associates as needed to help them acclimate quickly to the team.
• Perform any other activities assigned by your Store Leader.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a retail environment.
• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Passion for philanthropy and all things pop culture.

• Ability to stand and walk around during scheduled hours.
• Ability to reach merchandise using ladders, step stools, and poles.
• Capability to move boxes of merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
