About the role

Get some, give back! We're looking for pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a BoxLunch Seasonal Key Holder, you’ll support the store leadership team in providing the best customer experience, ensuring fellow fans can get the merch they love. You’ll use your fandom knowledge to help train new recruits and ensure their success, while also supporting your Store Manager in daily operations and meeting sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that will encourage customers to return; impress them with your product knowledge, customer experience skills and use of the Force.
• Step in and step up when needed: provide leadership support and help run the store when your Manager is pulled away.
• Understand the store sales plan and comp sales goals, and help drive sales by increasing key KPIs: UPT and ADT.
• Cover the sales floor zone, ensure assigned areas meet visual standards, and assist with opening and closing the store.
• Work the register: process sales transactions, use fandom knowledge to drive add‑on sales, close out the register, and communicate any shortages or overages to your Store Manager.
• Assist with planogram changes including store map, wall, fixture, and merchandising mix.
• Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and HQ partners.
• Work with Store Management to prevent misuse of spells and wizardry around theft.
• Help keep the stock room organized and the store tidy.
• Train and coach new Sales Associates as needed to help them acclimate quickly to the team.
• Perform any other activities assigned by your Store Leader.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a retail environment.
• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Qualifications

• Passion for philanthropy and all things pop culture.
• Avenger‑like collaboration and communication skills.
• Captain America‑like leadership abilities.
• Ability to stand and walk during scheduled hours, reach merchandise using ladders, step stools, or poles.
• Capable of moving boxes of merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.

Pay

Pay range starting at $15.50/hr–$15.60/hr. Note that the final salary may vary based on factors such as education, location, meeting minimum job requirements, training, and experience.
