Join DHT Group for Michigan's Sugar Beet Harvest. Dave Hausbeck Trucking (DHT Group) is hiring Seasonal CDL-A Drivers for their Sebewaing, Michigan sugar beet harvest operation.

About the role

Every year, dependable seasonal drivers help power one of Michigan's largest agricultural operations. Drivers who demonstrate a strong work ethic, professionalism, and a commitment to safety may have the opportunity to transition into full-time, year-round CDL-A positions with DHT after the harvest season.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport sugar beets within the customer production facility
• Load, haul, and unload product efficiently
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain DOT compliance and required documentation
• Report equipment concerns promptly
• Work closely with plant personnel and dispatch
• Represent DHT with professionalism and a safety-first attitude

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Ability to pass a DOT physical
• Ability to pass a DOT drug and alcohol screening
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles
• Reliable attendance and commitment to safety

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: None stated
• Preferred qualifications: Dump trailer experience, T endorsement preferred but not required, Agricultural hauling experience

Skills

• Physical requirements: Lift up to 25 pounds, climb in and out of commercial vehicles safely, bend, stoop, and work outdoors throughout the harvest season

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: Starting Pay: $20.00 per Hour
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 3-5 shifts per week based on production needs, Weekend and holiday work required as production demands
