Seasonal HR Resource - Cranbury/Monroe Township
This position communicates and enforces human resources policies, procedures, and programs in Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Compliance, and related areas. It provides HR support to assigned geographies, requiring close physical proximity to business operations covering one to multiple UPS locations. Responsibilities may include managing employee concerns, inquiry management, turnover-reduction programs, talent acquisition, select onboarding/offboarding activities, and on-site learning facilitation.
Responsibilities
- Promotes highly effective relationships between HR and Operations partners, recruiting organizations, external customers, and peers to share accountability and provide valued support for achieving business goals.
- Composes clear communications of HR processes, changes, or updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Promotes organizational change and cultural transformation to ensure the organization’s strategic and tactical initiatives are effectively executed.
- Demonstrates a thorough knowledge base, consistent time management skills, and strong organizational skills to provide an effective consultative partnership with business management.
- Develops effective tools to organize, prioritize, delegate, and create solutions to meet HR initiatives in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
- Exceptional oral, written, and interactive communication skills
- Skilled in effective research tactics with strong organizational skills
- Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality
- Ability to convey a positive and professional image to internal and external customers
- Ability to travel to support recruiting events/operations initiatives
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer
Qualifications
- Prior HR experience with the ability to utilize Workday and Fountain (preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent (preferred)
Pay
The base pay for this position ranges from $22.05/hr to $35.80/hr, based on several factors including but not limited to market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education/training, and work experience.
Hired applicants may be offered annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to applicable eligibility requirements. Payments under these programs are not guaranteed and depend on individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
