Seasonal HR Assistant

Seneca Foods Corporation Seneca Foods of Montgomery, MN, a food production and distribution center located approximately 35 miles southwest of the Twin Cities metro, is currently seeking a Seasonal Human Resource Assistant to join its team. The seasonal position runs from March through December and offers a flexible work schedule of 32-40 hours per week. It is an ideal opportunity for someone seeking part-time work while gaining hands-on human resources experience. Position Summary Assists the Human Resource Manager with administrative duties including (but not limited to) staffing, training documents and logs; internal and external correspondence; FMLA administration and recordkeeping; and filing / documentation. Responsibilities Assists with Seasonal Staffing support including but not limited to data entry, filing, orientations, reporting, training and employee investigations Provides back-up support for the Human Resource Manager Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Strong attention to detail and accuracy Bi-lingual Spanish/English skills preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Strong oral and written communication skills Good organizational skills Human resources or related education or experience preferred Starting wage range based on skills, abilities and experience from $18.54 per hour.
